Figurine - Standing Meerkat

In South West Africa we find a small animal measuring just 11 inches that is called "desert sentinel" or simply Meerkat. This small carnivore, recognizable by its blond coat dotted with dark fringes on the back, lives in family groups in a colony, in large burrows. The Meerkat stands on its hind legs to watch over the group and warn in case of danger.
