The Red Panda, also known as the glowing panda, or small panda, belongs to the family Ailuridae of which it is the last representative. This small omnivorous mammal is found in Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar or Tibet, and is no more than 49 inches tall, tail included, for a weight of 14 pounds for the largest males. He is easily recognizable by his red fur, black legs and white head, streaked with a brown band at the muzzle and cheeks.
