The Dromedary belongs to the species of camelids. Unlike his cousin the camel which has 2 bumps, the Dromedary has only one. This mammal is found in North Africa, the Middle East and the Near East. Perfectly suited to desert areas, the Dromedary can withstand extreme heat and lack of water. He can by drawing in his reserves, not drink for nearly a week. Its hump containing fat reserves, also serves to regulate its temperature. Used by men for the transport of goods, the Dromedary also provides a very rich milk, meat and it's fleece is also used to make blankets.
